From 30 satellites hanging 20.000 kilometres above us, synchronized time signals are broadcasted to GPS-receivers on the earth, enabling them to calculate their position within metres.
Motovator is running on a small computer, a GPS-enabled PocketPC, and uses the position information to record and analyze all your movement, whatever you are running, riding or skiing.
You can divide a track or route into sections by setting splits, and based on the position information, Motovator calculates lap and split times, and gives you instant feedback on the screen during your training. Afterwards your performance can be analyzed in details.
Motovator will store tracks, splits and sessions, so next time you visit the same track, you can compete against yourself and your previous performance on that track.

Cool stuff
- All your moves are recorded, so no matter what details or sections you wish to analyze, you are able to do it afterwards. As long as you have just started a session in Motovator - you are home free!
- Full control of what, when and how you receive feedback during a session. Set up multiple profiles, such as qualification with just one, big line of text with lap so far compared to best in session...
- Hunt your own shadow. At each split you will be notified, how much better/worse you are at this point in the race, compared to your best performance earlier.
- Forgetful? If you forget to select the correct track, or to start the clock, Motovator will automatically do it for you.
- Lazy? If you do not wish to add splits manually, then just ride. Motovator will analyze the track during your first laps and automatically add a split on the best straight.
- Ranked list of all your lap and split times for a track, with option of zooming in on specific sessions and sections.
- Single section analysis, where Motovator replays all your trails through a specific split section of the track - simultanously! You can even decide where the section ends, and Motovator will color the individual laps according to performance!
- Show Perfect Lap, composed of best individual sectors, from current Session, or even all-time greatest, in replay - and quickly determine optimal lines
- Add Lap Comparisons during replay, to show how much ahead/behind one lap is time-/distancewise compared to another
